Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current BCBA certification required
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to assess, design, and monitor behavior intervention plans
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and collect data to inform recommendations
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized behavior intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to provide consultative guidance and in-service training
  • Regularly communicate progress and results to both school teams and families
  • Offer crisis intervention support and develop strategies for behavioral emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal guidelines related to student care and privacy
