Your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be instrumental in shaping a positive, inclusive educational experience for students and helping educators achieve significant behavioral goals.
Required qualifications:
- Active DE BCBA licensure/certification
- Established experience working with school-aged children and young adults with severe disabilities and autism
- Background in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing effective Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to guide, train, and support school staff on behavioral strategies
- Insightful understanding of data collection systems to monitor student progress
Key responsibilities:
- Play a central role on the crisis team, utilizing de-escalation strategies to support students and staff
- Perform comprehensive FBAs and translate findings into actionable support plans
- Design and implement targeted BSPs tailored to individual needs
- Collaboratively develop behavior goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a data-driven culture by supporting accurate behavioral data collection and analysis
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship for school personnel to reinforce evidence-based behavioral supports
