Make a significant impact as a school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working with students ages 2–22 with severe disabilities and autism. In this contract role, you'll play an essential part in a collaborative educational setting near Woodside, DE, helping both students and staff thrive through expert behavioral support and intervention.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active BCBA certification and licensure in Delaware required
  • Knowledge and experience in school settings, particularly supporting students with autism and significant disabilities, strongly preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to implement crisis intervention strategies sensitively and efficiently
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, especially in conducting FBAs and devising behavior plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a crucial member of the crisis intervention team, de-escalating challenging situations with care and professionalism
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments to understand student needs
  • Design and update individualized Behavior Support Plans, addressing specific challenges for students
  • Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to integrate behavioral goals into IEPs
  • Guide data collection to measure progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Deliver direct behavioral support, consultation, and training to both students and staff in the school environment
