Your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be instrumental in shaping a positive, inclusive educational experience for students and helping educators achieve significant behavioral goals.

Required qualifications:

  • Active DE BCBA licensure/certification
  • Established experience working with school-aged children and young adults with severe disabilities and autism
  • Background in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing effective Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven ability to guide, train, and support school staff on behavioral strategies
  • Insightful understanding of data collection systems to monitor student progress

Key responsibilities:

  • Play a central role on the crisis team, utilizing de-escalation strategies to support students and staff
  • Perform comprehensive FBAs and translate findings into actionable support plans
  • Design and implement targeted BSPs tailored to individual needs
  • Collaboratively develop behavior goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Foster a data-driven culture by supporting accurate behavioral data collection and analysis
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship for school personnel to reinforce evidence-based behavioral supports
