Exciting contract opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a profound difference in the lives of young learners with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current BCBA certification is required
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals ages K–22 with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Familiarity with Safety-Care or similar behavioral crisis intervention methodologies
  • Strong background in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Excellent interpersonal, training, and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams (teachers, therapists, families)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and design evidence-based behavior intervention plans for individual students
  • Mentor and train classroom staff, including teachers and assistants, on the proper application of individualized behavior plans
  • Respond to behavioral crises by implementing Safety-Care procedures, using de-escalation and least restrictive interventions
  • Engage in ongoing collaboration with teachers, related services providers, and families to ensure coordinated, student-centered programming
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on data to inform instructional and behavioral decisions
  • Participate in and help facilitate professional development opportunities, including cross-disciplinary learning
