This contract opportunity offers a rewarding part-time schedule—2 days a week, with flexibility between Monday and Friday—focusing on delivering essential behavioral consultation services for approximately 29 students, ranging from elementary through middle school.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will play a key role in supporting classrooms with stable, engaged students who benefit from your expertise in behavioral intervention. You’ll provide meaningful guidance to both staff and students, assisting in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and ensuring ongoing success for learners with varying behavioral needs.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Public school experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with behavioral needs
- Skilled in implementing behavioral interventions and updating BIPs
- Excellent communication and collaboration with classroom teams and multidisciplinary professionals
- Creative, team-oriented, and compassionate approach to student support
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with classroom staff and students, offering evidence-based behavioral support
- Update and assist in implementing behavior intervention plans aligned with IEPs
- Facilitate smooth collaboration between classroom teams, special education staff, and administration
- Provide hands-on support for interventions and staff training as needed
