A highly motivated individual with BCBA certification is needed for a contract opportunity working with elementary students. This full-time position (37.5–40 hours weekly) begins immediately and continues through June 22, with a potential extension into the first semester of the upcoming academic year. You will support 24 inclusion students in grades K-3, as well as 5 students in a sub-separate classroom environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Previous experience supporting K-3 students, ideally within public school settings
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement behavioral intervention plans
- Effective communication with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments for assigned caseload
- Design and oversee individualized intervention strategies to support inclusion and sub-separate classrooms
- Provide ongoing data collection, analysis, and program modifications as needed
- Collaborate with general education and special education staff to implement behavior support plans
- Provide training, consultation, and professional development for teachers and paraprofessionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress evaluations
This role offers a dynamic environment working directly with students and dedicated staff across inclusion and specialized settings. The position is entirely during the regular and new school year, with no summer/ESY coverage required.
