Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Yelm, Washington

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing expert support for K-12 students across a vibrant district. For the 2026-2027 academic year, an experienced and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to offer essential services and guidance. The role spans the full school year, from September 9, 2026, to June 16, 2027, and covers a diverse caseload throughout the district.

This position emphasizes a hands-on, in-person approach, working closely with students, educators, and Behavior Support Assistants. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping positive behavioral interventions and ensuring best practices are delivered throughout the school community.

What We're Looking For:

• Active WA BCBA license, or ability to obtain one prior to start date
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting with OSPI (or readiness to complete this requirement)
• Prior experience with K-12 student populations, especially in a school or district-wide setting
• Knowledge of supervising and mentoring Behavior Support Assistants (BSAs)
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing services on-site; virtual or remote work options are not available

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver behavioral assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for students across all grade levels
• Supervise and provide ongoing support to BSAs
• Collaborate directly with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student success
• Implement evidence-based strategies and facilitate district-wide training and consultations
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes consistently
