A dynamic opportunity awaits an experienced BCBA to provide district-wide support for K-12 students during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a full-time schedule and the chance to make an immediate, meaningful impact as an integral support for students and staff. The assignment runs from September 9, 2026, to June 16, 2027, with a commitment to 37.5 hours each week.
The role will have a hands-on presence throughout the district, supporting a diverse caseload across all grade levels, and providing supervision for Behavior Support Assistants (BSAs). You’ll leverage your expertise to design and implement effective behavioral strategies and collaborate with a broad team of educational professionals. Please note, all services must be provided onsite; virtual options are unavailable for this opening.
Desired Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Current or eligible for Washington BCBA licensure (must be obtained by start date)
- Fingerprinting through OSPI or willingness to complete fingerprinting requirements
- Strong background working with K-12 students in school settings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience supervising behavioral support staff is highly desirable
- Passion for supporting diverse student needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary education teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive behavioral support to students district-wide
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress
- Supervise and mentor BSA staff
- Partner with teachers, families, and staff to build positive behavioral environments
- Ensure best practices are followed in accordance with state and district guidelines
