Behavioral Specialist in School Setting | Columbia, Maryland

A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is needed to support Early Childhood programs within the Metro Baltimore area schools. This contract role requires onsite presence and focuses on serving the Early Learning Team during the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavior assessment, intervention, and support consistent with BCBA practices.
• Develop and implement behavior plans tailored to young learners in early childhood settings.
• Maintain detailed daily logs to verify activities and contribute to comprehensive effectiveness reports.
• Collaborate with the Early Learning Team to support student development and learning goals.
• Comply with all state-required documentation and credentialing standards.

Qualifications:

• Active BCBA licensure required.
• Experience working with early childhood populations preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite within assigned schools in the Metro Baltimore area.
• Must complete additional Maryland state credentialing requirements.

Location:

• Metro Baltimore area, Maryland (onsite only)
• Assignments may vary by school, with an expected full-time schedule of up to 37.5 hours per week.
• Contract dates: August 18, 2026, through June 11, 2027.
