We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Specialist to support students across multiple districts (K–12 itinerant assignment). This role focuses on providing behavioral and social-emotional interventions to help students succeed in the least restrictive environment.
Position Details:
- K–12 Itinerant role across multiple districts
- School-based assignment
- Full-time or consistent schedule based on district needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Current Kansas State Teaching License with appropriate endorsement
- License in School Psychology, School Social Work, or School Counseling preferred
- Strong background in behavioral support and intervention strategies
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support and intervention services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Support development and implementation of behavior plans
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes
- Travel between assigned districts as needed
