School Behavior Specialist in Manchester, NH

Step into a rewarding role as a contract Behavior Technician supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time opportunity is perfectly suited for skilled ABA Therapists and Behavior Specialists with school-based ABA experience. Located near Manchester, NH, you’ll be working closely with a high school student who requires consistent behavioral support throughout the academic year, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 2027.

In this role, you will:

• Provide one-on-one ABA-based support to a high school student with specialized needs during the school day.
• Assist the student in navigating the school environment, including safely pushing a non-automatic wheelchair.
• Collaborate with educational staff and special education professionals to implement individualized behavioral plans.
• Track data, monitor progress, and provide input on student achievements and behaviors.
• Communicate regularly with the wider support team to ensure cohesive care for the student.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Prior hands-on experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Specialist in a school setting.
• An understanding of ABA principles and best practices for supporting students with complex needs.
• Physical capability to assist with wheelchair mobility.
• Reliability and a compassionate, student-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to document and relay information effectively.
