Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time opportunity in Watkinsville, GA, located just outside of Oconee County. This position is perfect for an RBT with experience in behavior intervention and applying Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). You will be working district-wide, supporting a variety of grade levels within the behavior program, with the goal of helping students with behavioral needs succeed in both their academic and social development.

In this role, you will collaborate with the special education team and school staff to implement behavior management strategies that provide students with the support they need. This position allows you to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational experiences while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges.
• Work with students across multiple grade levels, providing individualized behavior support and interventions.
• Collect and analyze data on student behavior, tracking progress and making adjustments to interventions when needed.
• Collaborate with the special education team to develop and execute behavior management strategies and support plans.
• Assist in the de-escalation of behaviors and help maintain a safe, positive classroom environment.
• Provide direct support to students to help them engage in academic tasks and improve social interactions.

Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification (Required).
• Experience with behavior intervention and implementing BIPs.
• Previous school experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral management strategies.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
