Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) license required
  • Previous experience as a CNA or LNA in pediatric, school, or similar settings preferred
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist with a variety of student care needs
  • Ability to ride the school bus with students as part of daily assignments
  • Clear communication skills for collaborating with school personnel, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 care and support for assigned students throughout the school day
  • Carry out delegated medical tasks, which may include personal care, trach care, G-tube feeding, ventilator assistance, seizure monitoring, diabetic care, toileting, and documentation
  • Ride the bus to ensure safe student transportation, if required
  • Offer support with academic activities in the classroom, as needed
  • Adapt to changing student needs and caseloads as new assignments arise
