School Nurse CNA in Providence, RI

This full-time, contract opportunity places you in a rewarding 1:1 para role, providing essential care and encouragement to a young learner who will benefit from your compassion and medical expertise. Qualifications and Experience:

• Active CNA certification and good standing
• Previous experience working with children or in a school environment is highly valued
• Ability to provide physical and emotional support with patience and empathy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily 1:1 support to an elementary-aged student, assisting with mobility, hygiene, and other health-related needs as directed
• Foster a safe, nurturing environment that enhances the student’s educational experience
• Monitor and report student’s health status and needs to school nursing staff
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure consistent care and integration
• Adapt to evolving needs and routines of the student throughout the school day
