Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current COTA certification and valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, educational staff, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning and implementing individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy sessions in group and one-on-one settings
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in compliance with school guidelines
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educational professionals and parents to support student success
