School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Allentown, Pennsylvania

This position offers an opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary school students in the Bethlehem, PA area. The role involves managing an elementary grade caseload, providing essential therapy services to young learners throughout the school year. This contract assignment is designed for 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to elementary school students’ developmental and educational needs
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
• Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with parents and educational professionals

Qualifications:

• Possession of an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Pennsylvania state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
