Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a focus on school-based services. Work with preschools and childcare centers, providing vital therapeutic support to children in Bethlehem and Stroudsburg, PA. This full-time position runs from August 18, 2026, through July 30, 2027, offering a predictable schedule of 37.5 hours each week, with workdays beginning at 7:45 AM and ending at 3:15 PM.

Play a key part in nurturing children’s growth and helping them achieve developmental milestones throughout the academic year. Start the year with a caseload of approximately 30 students, gradually increasing to around 50 by year’s end. You’ll have the support and resources you need to make a real impact in a collaborative, child-focused setting.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active COTA license or eligibility in Pennsylvania
  • Experience supporting children in preschools, elementary, or similar educational settings
  • Understanding of IEP documentation and school-based therapy practices
  • Ability to adapt and individualize interventions for diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to enhance students’ participation and independence
  • Assist in carrying out IEP goals and documenting progress
  • Consult and communicate with educational staff and parents on student needs
  • Support transitions between activities and classroom routines
