Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license
  • Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, preferably in schools or special education settings
  • Availability for a school-day schedule, up to 35 hours per week
  • Willingness and ability to commute to assignments within Carbon and Lehigh Counties
  • Comfort delivering therapy services to students with disabilities
  • Ability to attend an in-person interview as part of the selection process

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions as directed by supervising therapists and aligned with student IEP goals
  • Collect data and document student progress accurately
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to adapt classroom activities and environments for student inclusion
  • Support students individually and in groups to develop fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in daily activities
  • Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to parent communication as needed
