Essential Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania COTA license
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Demonstrated experience working with children, preferably in schools or special education settings
- Availability for a school-day schedule, up to 35 hours per week
- Willingness and ability to commute to assignments within Carbon and Lehigh Counties
- Comfort delivering therapy services to students with disabilities
- Ability to attend an in-person interview as part of the selection process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions as directed by supervising therapists and aligned with student IEP goals
- Collect data and document student progress accurately
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to adapt classroom activities and environments for student inclusion
- Support students individually and in groups to develop fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in daily activities
- Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to parent communication as needed
