Make a difference supporting young learners as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant within an Early Learning Center setting. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 23, 2027, and is located onsite near Auburn, WA. Ideal candidates are passionate about providing hands-on therapeutic support and have demonstrated experience working with children in educational environments.

You’ll collaborate closely with the occupational therapy team and educational staff, contributing to the growth and development of preschool-age children. Enjoy a dynamic workday, making lasting connections and helping set little ones on a path to success.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State COTA or OT license is required
  • Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI prior to onboarding
  • Previous school-based COTA experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the needs of younger children and new situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy support services to early learners under the supervision of an OT
  • Carry out prescribed therapy activities and interventions within classroom and individual sessions
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and update documentation as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support individualized learning plans
  • Assist with screening, assessments, and implementation of IEP goals
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success

This onsite, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offers the opportunity to work during the 2026-2027 school year in a supportive, community-focused environment. Pay is competitively set between $77-80 per hour, recognizing your valuable expertise and commitment.
