Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Avondale, AZ

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists on student progress and therapy interventions
• Document services and student outcomes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Support the overall educational mission by helping students maximize their functional independence in the school setting
