Based near Bedford, NH, this full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in student development throughout a 12-week assignment running from August 2026 to November 2026. You'll work Monday through Friday, between 32 and 37.5 hours each week, providing essential occupational therapy services to young learners.
What we’re looking for:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary setting
- Strong collaborative skills for partnering with therapists, teachers, and families
- Proactive communication and organization abilities
- Passion for nurturing students’ independence and participation within the classroom
Your impact:
- Deliver direct interventions and support to elementary students, guided by individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to implement classroom accommodations and modifications
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participation
- Assist in evaluating and recommending adaptive equipment or strategies as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to comprehensive care planning
