Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with an active MI license (must be verified through the state licensing portal).
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting.
- Skilled in providing therapy and accommodations for students with various disabilities.
- Comfort working onsite and collaborating with educators and families.
- Effective communicator with strong organizational skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students based on IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored for each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom integration of therapy recommendations.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Travel within Monroe and Mason Public Schools as needed.
