Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with an active MI license (must be verified through the state licensing portal).
  • Demonstrated experience in a school setting.
  • Skilled in providing therapy and accommodations for students with various disabilities.
  • Comfort working onsite and collaborating with educators and families.
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students based on IEP goals.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored for each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom integration of therapy recommendations.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Travel within Monroe and Mason Public Schools as needed.
