Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with elementary and/or secondary students
  • Comfortable collaborating with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in providing direct therapeutic interventions, adaptations, and classroom modifications
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt as needed for individual student needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students under licensed OT supervision
  • Implement IEP-accommodated interventions in both classroom and small group settings
  • Accurately document student progress, session activities, and collaborate in team meetings
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, organization, and self-regulation skills
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development as part of your assignment
