Key Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
- Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with elementary and/or secondary students
- Comfortable collaborating with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable in providing direct therapeutic interventions, adaptations, and classroom modifications
- Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt as needed for individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students under licensed OT supervision
- Implement IEP-accommodated interventions in both classroom and small group settings
- Accurately document student progress, session activities, and collaborate in team meetings
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, organization, and self-regulation skills
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development as part of your assignment
