- Credentialed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience supporting students in a school environment preferred
- Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to implement individualized and group therapy plans as directed by an occupational therapist
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct activities and exercises under the guidance of an occupational therapist to promote students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Support development and progress toward IEP goals
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session outcomes
- Adapt therapy activities for individuals or groups based on varying functional levels
- Communicate regularly with therapy and educational staff to monitor student needs and successes
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
