Four contract openings are available with a focus on serving educational communities across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This assignment offers up to 35 hours per week and aligns with the traditional school calendar, ensuring a predictable and rewarding schedule.

The position is ideal for COTAs ready to enrich student experiences in school-based or special education environments. Candidates must be adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about empowering children with varying abilities and needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license (required)
  • Current NBCOT certification as a COTA (required)
  • Previous experience working with students in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to work up to 35 hours per week during standard school hours
  • Willingness to travel within Carbon and/or Lehigh County
  • Must be comfortable working with students with disabilities
  • Available to attend an in-person interview

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students per Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff on student care plans
  • Assist with documentation, progress tracking, and program implementation
  • Adapt activities and materials to promote student participation and independence
  • Maintain compliance with state and local regulations and best practices
