Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current, valid COTA license in California
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and documentation abilities
  • Passion for supporting the educational and functional growth of students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individual and group therapy sessions as designed by a supervising occupational therapist
  • Assist in developing and carrying out treatment plans addressing students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Accurately document progress and maintain all required records
  • Adapt interventions in response to students’ evolving needs and classroom settings
