Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as required
  • Prior experience in a school environment preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners in all school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services as directed by supervising OT
  • Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students’ success in classrooms
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions, interventions, and progress
  • Adapt materials and strategies to optimize student access to curriculum
  • Support goal development and implementation, promoting active student participation
