This full-time contract role is based at a single school site and starts on August 27th, with service continuing until a permanent direct hire is in place. You’ll work alongside an Occupational Therapist (OT), contributing your skills and compassion to help students thrive. Working hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, providing a stable weekday schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid COTA license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting required
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with OTs, staff, and students
- Confidence in supporting individualized student goals and participating in team meetings
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to a dynamic school environment
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under the supervision of the OT
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals as written by the OT
- Support data collection and documentation of student progress
- Modify activities and materials to meet diverse student needs
- Work closely with school staff to foster an inclusive learning atmosphere
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based therapy
