This full-time opportunity is designed for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who has a background in school-based practice and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with an Occupational Therapist to help students achieve their academic and functional goals at a single school site located near Blaine, WA.

This contract position begins as soon as possible and will continue until a permanent direct hire is established by the district. Work a consistent schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours per week. Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Proven experience working in school settings is essential
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Skilled in implementing individualized therapy plans under OT supervision
• Strong collaboration skills and reliability
• Ability to manage a caseload and document interventions accurately

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as directed by the supervising OT
• Support and carry out individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Assist with student assessments and progress monitoring
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student planning
• Adapt therapy techniques to fit the classroom environment
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation of student progress
