School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Bridgeport, CT

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based opportunity in the Bridgeport, CT area. This is a W-2 position offering full benefits, 401(k) matching, licensure reimbursement, and dedicated recruiter support throughout your assignment.

We work closely with clinicians to match them with placements that fit their preferences, including:

  • PreK–12 age groups
  • Classroom and caseload preferences
  • Preferred school settings and locations

In this role, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans, support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills, collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, participate in IEP meetings as appropriate, and maintain accurate documentation to help students succeed in the educational setting.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Connecticut COTA license or ability to obtain
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • IEP experience preferred

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.23 to $43.23. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
