Key Qualifications:
- Active COTA certification and appropriate state licensure required
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff
- Adaptability to handle a diverse K-12 caseload and varied student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy interventions developed by the supervising OT to support students’ educational programming
- Provide direct services to students in both individual and group settings
- Document student progress, maintain accurate service logs, and assist with data collection and reporting
- Communicate observations and insights to the supervising OT for progress monitoring and service adjustments
- Contribute to and participate in IEP meetings when needed
- Support inclusive education, ensuring best access to learning for all students
