Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students’ development as a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This contract opportunity runs ASAP through the end of the school year, with a consistent commitment of 2 days per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active COTA certification and appropriate state licensure required
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff
  • Adaptability to handle a diverse K-12 caseload and varied student needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy interventions developed by the supervising OT to support students’ educational programming
  • Provide direct services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate service logs, and assist with data collection and reporting
  • Communicate observations and insights to the supervising OT for progress monitoring and service adjustments
  • Contribute to and participate in IEP meetings when needed
  • Support inclusive education, ensuring best access to learning for all students
