Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted COTA license required
  • Prior experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with school-based documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy services for students according to prescribed IEPs
  • Collaborate with supervising OTs, teachers, and school staff to support student goals
  • Track, document, and report on student progress
  • Assist in adapting classroom materials and activities to meet individual needs
  • Provide feedback and strategies to families and staff to promote carryover of skills
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
