Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active, unrestricted COTA license required
- Prior experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with school-based documentation
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy services for students according to prescribed IEPs
- Collaborate with supervising OTs, teachers, and school staff to support student goals
- Track, document, and report on student progress
- Assist in adapting classroom materials and activities to meet individual needs
- Provide feedback and strategies to families and staff to promote carryover of skills
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
