Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active COTA certification/license in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Adaptability and a commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic services under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to support their fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist in designing and modifying school environments and materials to support student access and participation
- Support students’ transition and generalization of skills throughout their day
