With a 28-hour workweek, you’ll enjoy a balanced schedule while working alongside passionate educators and therapists.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold an active COTA license in Colorado
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to travel between two charter school sites within the Aurora area
- Outstanding organizational skills and a proactive approach to supporting student goals
Responsibilities:
- Implement OT treatment plans developed by supervising occupational therapists
- Provide direct interventions to help students access the curriculum and develop essential life skills
- Document progress and maintain clear, accurate records in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed to share student progress and recommendations
- Adapt activities and materials for students in both classroom and small-group settings
- Collaborate regularly with the OT and school faculty to create a supportive, inclusive environment
