Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA certification and state licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
  • Organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy sessions to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Support students’ development of fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
  • Document student progress and provide input for progress reports and IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support students’ success
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a positive, inclusive school climate
