Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current COTA licensure in the state of Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Schools-based or pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and follow treatment plans under OT supervision
- Effective organization and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist with the implementation of IEP goals and document student progress toward objectives
- Adapt and modify instructional materials and classroom environments to support student participation
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to promote student success within the school environment
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to student evaluations as needed
- Travel between assigned school sites (if required)
