Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current COTA licensure in the state of Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Schools-based or pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop and follow treatment plans under OT supervision
  • Effective organization and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
  • Assist with the implementation of IEP goals and document student progress toward objectives
  • Adapt and modify instructional materials and classroom environments to support student participation
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to promote student success within the school environment
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to student evaluations as needed
  • Travel between assigned school sites (if required)
