Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Valid state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to implement treatment plans and collaborate effectively with OTs, teachers, and families
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with developing fine motor, sensory, and life skills under OT supervision
• Conduct therapy sessions, track student progress, and adapt activities to individual needs
• Document interventions and outcomes clearly and accurately
