This full-time contract position spans from August 2026 to November 2026, providing a dynamic 12-week assignment where you can make a direct impact on young learners’ lives.
You will work Monday through Friday, with hours ranging from 32 to 37.5 per week. As the sole COTA for this assignment, your expertise will be valued as you collaborate closely with the educational team to create positive outcomes for students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for supporting the developmental and educational needs of elementary-aged children
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions and support for students on an elementary caseload
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and related treatment goals
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff to foster student development
- Document student progress and complete required reports accurately and timely
- Contribute to a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
