Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an OT or COTA; school-based experience is highly valued
  • Eligibility for (or ability to obtain) NM RLD and NMPED licensure
  • Strong understanding of pediatric therapy within educational settings
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with faculty, students, and families
  • Dedication to fostering a positive, accessible learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students at both elementary and middle school levels
  • Assess students’ needs, develop individualized intervention plans, and monitor progress

  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
