This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, providing crucial therapy services within K-12 schools.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid COTA certification and licensure in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Proficiency supporting K-12 student caseloads with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs.
  • Comfortable collaborating with virtual team members.
  • Effective communication, documentation, and intervention skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions under OT supervision for a diverse K-12 student population.
  • Support students’ participation in educational activities, helping to foster independence and engagement.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
  • Contribute to evaluation processes and recommend adaptive tools or classroom strategies.
