This role is designed for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) comfortable working within a school environment. With a manageable commitment of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, you’ll play a key role in helping students develop essential skills and achieve greater independence.

You’ll collaborate closely with an experienced and supportive virtual Occupational Therapist supervisor, ensuring consistent guidance and growth as you work with a diverse caseload across various grade levels. This dynamic school-based setting offers the chance to truly make an impact in students' academic and personal lives.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience, or strong interest in, a school-based setting
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload serving K-12 students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for school collaboration
  • Comfortable using technology to connect with a remote OT supervisor
  • Dedication to fostering student independence and growth

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering direct, hands-on therapy services to students under virtual OT supervision
  • Assisting with implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collecting data and tracking student progress toward goals
  • Supporting classroom staff with tools and strategies for student success
  • Documenting daily activities and outcomes in accordance with school protocols
