You’ll work 36 hours per week, aligned with a 10 1/2 month academic calendar. As a COTA in a school-based setting, you’ll collaborate closely with occupational therapists, educators, and families, ensuring students receive the services and interventions they need to thrive throughout the school year.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current COTA certification and licensure
  • Experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Understanding of pediatric and educational intervention strategies
  • Familiarity with IEP process and goal implementation
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills within the classroom
  • Assist in implementing intervention plans under the supervision of an OT
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Adapt activities and materials to promote student participation and independence
