An exciting opportunity awaits for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Bethlehem, PA area, working with an elementary school caseload. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' daily lives and educational outcomes. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated therapy team and educators, supporting children in grades K-5 in reaching their developmental and academic goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active and current Pennsylvania state COTA license
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with children, staff, and parents
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is a plus
  • Commitment to promoting independence and participation in school activities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to elementary students according to their IEPs
  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning, implementing, and documenting therapy interventions
  • Work closely with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
  • Support the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation

Schedule & Assignment Details:

  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Elementary grade caseload
  • Start as soon as possible, with assignment continuing through the end of the school year
