This contract opportunity spans from August 18, 2026, through July 30, 2027. You’ll work 37.5 hours each week, with a schedule of 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, and serve children in vibrant communities near Easton, PA.
This position focuses on delivering compassionate, effective occupational therapy services to a growing caseload that starts around 30 students and may expand to 50 as the year progresses. You will be delivering therapy in both preschool and childcare centers, providing essential support to help young learners reach their fullest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
- Knowledge of best practices in pediatric or early childhood occupational therapy
- Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and families
- Flexible mindset able to work across multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Assist with evaluations and progress monitoring for assigned students
- Document services according to school and legal guidelines
- Communicate regularly with educators and family members to support student growth
