Use your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students in a supportive educational environment. This full-time, contract role offers you the chance to engage with a diverse student population while providing both direct and indirect occupational therapy services. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative school-based setting, focused on student achievement, with a clear start and end date—beginning as soon as possible and concluding May 21, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
  • Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
  • Understanding of IEP processes, student accommodations, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedicated, flexible, and compassionate demeanor, with strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students and support their participation in school routines and activities
  • Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Document therapy sessions and progress, according to school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain ongoing communication with staff and families
  • Focus solely on your contracted responsibilities—no bus duty, lunch duty, or parent pick-up is required
