Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) covering a maternity leave, with an immediate start through December. Your expertise will positively impact student success across five campuses, including two elementary schools, a middle school, and two high schools. You'll play a pivotal role in helping approximately 75 students—many at the secondary level receiving monthly or consult-based services—oversee their progress, and collaborate with dedicated school teams.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid COTA license
  • Prior experience within school-based settings preferred
  • Understanding of IEP implementation and documentation
  • Comfortable managing a moderate-sized caseload
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
  • Support a diverse student population with varying needs, primarily at the secondary level
  • Monitor student progress, maintain records, and report outcomes to supervising therapists and educators
  • Adapt interventions to help students achieve educational goals and participate in the school environment
  • Coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care across all assigned campuses
