Step into a dynamic role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high schools within a large educational district! This contract opportunity is ideal for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants who are passionate about empowering students from Pre-K through age 22. You'll be itinerant, working on-site only (remote/virtual work is not available), and splitting your time across different school locations based on varying start and end times.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Valid educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
  • Active Illinois licensure required
  • Previous school-based experience highly valued
  • Must complete required fingerprints prior to start

Responsibilities:

  • Travel between multiple school sites within the district, providing direct occupational therapy support to a diverse student caseload
  • Work collaboratively with lead OTs, educators, and school teams to implement individualized treatment plans
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings regarding student progress, adapting interventions for ages Pre-K through 22 as needed
  • Document sessions efficiently and maintain compliance with district and state standards
  • Deliver hands-on therapy that empowers students’ functional participation in the school environment
