This contract role focuses on providing specialized support through birth to 3 home visits, offering early intervention services to young children and their families within the educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy services for infants and toddlers aged birth to 3 years in home environments
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document and report on therapy progress and maintain compliance with regulations and standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to goal-setting for each child’s development
Qualifications:
- Active California COTA license or currently in the licensing process
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, specifically birth to 3 services, preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with families and professionals
- Ability to work independently in community and home settings
Location:
- Position based in Eureka, CA, with travel throughout Humboldt County required
