Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active COTA license in Washington State
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent therapy practices
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and settings
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside occupational therapists to implement treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, activities of daily living, and classroom participation
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of treatment progress and session notes
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school-based professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Support IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings by reporting student progress and offering recommendations
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Help develop resources and materials to engage students and enhance therapy outcomes
