Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active COTA license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous pediatric experience or prior work in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, educators, and families
  • Organized, adaptable, and committed to supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services as prescribed in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assist occupational therapists with assessments and documentation
  • Support students’ participation in classroom and daily activities
  • Implement interventions to promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-help skills
  • Track student progress and maintain timely records
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate on therapy goals
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
