This float position will be integral in delivering therapy services across multiple school sites with Pre-K through 12th grade learners. While the exact caseload is still being determined, the position offers valuable variety and the chance to make a significant impact across several educational settings.
Key Details:
- Contract will run from September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027
- Approximately 29 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 30 hours
- Work with a wide range of students, from preschoolers to high school seniors
- Serve at multiple sites throughout the week, gaining exposure to different grade levels and school cultures
Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA credential and eligibility for state licensure
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- Exceptional communication skills and adaptability to flex across diverse environments
- Collaborative, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in assessing students’ needs and help develop individualized treatment plans
- Adapt interventions to best support educational participation and success
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation as required
- Work in partnership with school staff, students, and families
