Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming academic year. This float position will be integral in delivering therapy services across multiple school sites with Pre-K through 12th grade learners. While the exact caseload is still being determined, the position offers valuable variety and the chance to make a significant impact across several educational settings.

Key Details:

  • Contract will run from September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027
  • Approximately 29 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 30 hours
  • Work with a wide range of students, from preschoolers to high school seniors
  • Serve at multiple sites throughout the week, gaining exposure to different grade levels and school cultures

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active COTA credential and eligibility for state licensure
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Exceptional communication skills and adaptability to flex across diverse environments
  • Collaborative, student-centered approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Assist in assessing students’ needs and help develop individualized treatment plans
  • Adapt interventions to best support educational participation and success
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation as required
  • Work in partnership with school staff, students, and families
