Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Ferndale, WA

This full-time role offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, running Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. You'll play a vital role in helping students access their education by delivering interventions under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.

Key Qualifications:

• Active COTA license in Washington state
• Previous experience working in a school setting is required
• Strong collaboration skills for working with OTs, teachers, and school staff

Responsibilities:

• Implement OT treatment plans and interventions as directed by the supervising OT
• Support students in improving fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to enhance participation in learning
• Track student progress and assist in documentation and reporting
• Prepare, organize, and maintain therapy materials and student records
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the therapy team
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
