Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current COTA license (or eligibility) in Indiana
  • Prior experience in schools or pediatrics preferred, but open to new grads with strong clinical skills
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Primary Duties:

  • Support students’ educational plans by implementing therapeutic activities under an Occupational Therapist’s supervision
  • Collect data on student progress and provide feedback for IEP documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
  • Assist in developing adaptive strategies and modifying classroom materials
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
