Qualifications:

  • At least one year of recent experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check
  • Commitment to earning required continuing education credits and meeting state/district professional development mandates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement engaging therapeutic activities tailored to students’ unique educational needs
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and collaborate with the OT team to refine interventions
  • Maintain open communication with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated support
  • Ensure accurate record keeping in adherence to state and district guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with best practices
