Take your career to the next level as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working with school-aged children in a supportive educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to make a difference across multiple campuses, assisting students in achieving their best possible outcomes.

As a vital member of the special education team, you’ll provide direct therapy services, collaborate with school staff and families, and implement individualized education plans. If you have a passion for working with children and the drive to foster growth and independence, you could be an excellent fit for this role.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active COTA certification and licensure in California
  • At least 1 year of pediatric experience (preferably in a school setting)
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
  • Reliable transportation to cover 2-5 nearby schools as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support IEP goals and document therapy sessions in alignment with district and state requirements
  • Communicate progress with teachers, parents, and related staff
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for program improvement
  • Adapt interventions and strategies for diverse student needs

Interviews will be held on July 17th between 1-3 PM Pacific Time, providing a quick and efficient hiring process.

Compensation for this position starts at approximately $50 per hour. For candidates with exceptional, relevant experience, there may be flexibility to discuss approval for a higher rate.
