This on-site role offers the chance to make a lasting impact while working with students from PreK through 12th grade for the duration of the school year. With a caseload spanning 3–5 schools and steady weekly hours, your expertise will help students achieve their fullest potential in an engaging educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapy Assistant license (OTA)
  • Experience working with school-age children, ideally within educational settings
  • Familiarity with supporting diverse caseloads across a range of age groups
  • Ability to travel between assigned schools as needed
  • Completion of district-mandated fingerprinting (previous prints in the AHCA Clearinghouse accepted)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students (PreK-12) as outlined in their IEPs and 504 plans
  • Implement therapeutic activities to improve students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and monitor tailored intervention plans
  • Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and required reports in compliance with district guidelines
  • Provide support across 3–5 campus locations as assigned
  • Participate in staff meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences as needed
