School-Based COTA | Fountain, Colorado

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a COTA
• Valid licensure to practice in the state
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to provide insight for staff and families
• Adaptable and organized, able to manage caseloads across multiple locations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an OT
• Implement individualized therapy goals to help students access their curriculum and school environment
• Support the creation and implementation of accommodations and interventions as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress and participation
• Maintain accurate records and assist with documentation as required
• Travel between two charter schools within the week to provide on-site therapy
