Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a COTA
- Valid licensure to practice in the state
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to provide insight for staff and families
- Adaptable and organized, able to manage caseloads across multiple locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an OT
- Implement individualized therapy goals to help students access their curriculum and school environment
- Support the creation and implementation of accommodations and interventions as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress and participation
- Maintain accurate records and assist with documentation as required
- Travel between two charter schools within the week to provide on-site therapy
